Journal of Engineering Geology and Environmental Research (JEGER)
Journal of Engineering Geology and Environmental Research (JEGER) is a peer reviewed journal published by the Nigerian Association of Engineering Geology and the Environment (NAEGE). NAEGE is a specialist group of the Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) and an affiliate of the International Association of Engineering Geology (IAEG).
JEGER aims to gather information in relation to the fields of environmental and engineering geology and publish papers at the forefront of current and developing issues shaping the landscape of these disciplines. It is a comprehensive geological and geotechnical engineering portfolio capturing the dialogue between academic and industry research-partners. In addition, the journal seeks to be representative of a variety of scientific methods in proffering solutions to environmental problems and emphasises an interdisciplinary approach, cognisant of a dynamic interface between geology, civil engineering and the environment
